At Wright Abshire, Attorneys, the entire focus of our legal practice is on elder law — the wide range of legal issues that are important to elderly people and their families.

Certified Elder Law Attorneys

Few Medicaid planning law firms can boast as high a concentration of certified elder law attorneys as Wright Abshire.

Firm partners Wesley Wright and Molly Abshire are both certified elder law attorneys (CELAs) by the National Elder Law Foundation. Mr. Wright is also Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a member of the Special Needs Alliance (SNA), an invitation-only national organization committed to helping people who have family members with special needs.

We also employ three associate attorneys, each of whom also focuses their entire practice on legal issues relevant to older people: Joy Eckelkamp-Torres, who was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers: Rising Stars Edition 2008, Kelley M. Bentley and Lance McLain.

Our ground-floor office is located in Bellaire, Texas, a suburb of Houston, and is wheelchair accessible, with accessible parking right in front of our office.

We also serve clients statewide throughout Texas and work with families located in other states to care for elder relatives in Texas. We are happy to make home, hospital, and nursing home visits for clients. Some legal matters can also be handled via telephone consultations.
